About Us

Balance Within is a PT-owned, cash-based practice that has been serving Lake Country for more than 10 years. Doctors Jereme and Sarah Trunk started Balance Within in 2015 to create a practice where therapists could thrive in pursuing specialization, avoid burnout and to provide the care the patients truly need without insurance constraints.

We are known for combining evidence-based orthopedic care, specialized manual therapies, movement-based rehabilitation, and whole-person clinical reasoning to help patients find answers when other approaches have fallen short.

• Have 3+ years of orthopedic PT experience

• Enjoy solving challenging cases and thinking beyond protocols

• Value both evidence-based practice and individualized care

• Have great hands and enjoy incorporating manual therapies as a regular part of your practice (John Barnes Myofascial Release, CranioSacral Therapy, Visceral Manipulation, IPA and other Manual Therapy Courses are encouraged however not required)

• Appreciate feedback and continual growth

• Communicate effectively and take ownership

• Are interested in orthopedics, women's health, pelvic health, manual therapy, chronic pain, wellness, injury prevention, or specialty practice development
